    RESYNCING 100+ SONGS IS FUNNNN

Thank goodness for judge 7 or I wouldn't have a clue how onsync/offsync most of these files are.

You would not believe how hard it is to get the correct gap.

No, it's not that easy as finding the first big block in the waveform editor. Infact it's always somewhere in that big block which makes it -really- annoying. It took me like 45 minutes just to get the correct gap for Slam.

You sure have a niche for making things sound difficult, Arch.

If you know the BPM of the song, you could figure out the amount of beats before the song starts (since the silence is usually based off of its BPM), do a little math, and you should have the exact gap

Use acid, put the song into the slot, press up until you cant anymore, then click where the sound begins, and then read the gap off of the time slot.

          Easy, perfect Gap.

          Signature subject to change.

You've got to be kidding me. If you actually think that works, give me a song that you synced with that method, please.

Did any of the songs in this pack have a perfect gap to begin with?
I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak. Souls cross ages like clouds cross skies, an' tho' a cloud's shape nor hue nor size don't stay the same, it's still a cloud an' so is a soul. Who can say where the cloud's blowed from or who the soul'll be 'morrow? Only Sonmi the east an' the west an' the compass an' the atlas, yay, only the atlas o' clouds.

No. Not one. bag (japan mix) had a perfect gap, but it didn't start when the arrows did, so it's not universal for computers.

I thought of this and I'm wondering if this would make sure you have the right GAP more or less.

Use BeatCounter to find the BPM of the song. If the accuracy of BeatCounter is high for the BPM then the GAP off Audacity should be aproxamatly the same percentage of accuracy correct? Hmm I wonder...

Qreepys way gives a shitty gap. Best way IMO is to use the editor and find the exact time where the first arrow starts and will always hit a marvelous.

I zoom goldwave in and check where the first percussion hits its major trough. This almost always gives a perfect sync, even for songs like slam. If you want an example then I wish you could talk is one...

Aperson's method gives pefect gaps on judge 4, but I'm talking perfect gaps as in even perfect on judge 7 and 8 and even justice.

                          offtopic and flameworthy but wtf-

                          Thank goodness for judge
first thing i read, made me think of "Jungle Love" by Steve Miller Band, i played it, and i am listening to it now.

You have officially gone mad if you start syncing songs to Justice. Not only would it take 5+ hours, but they would be more onsync than DDR songs. XD

Nah, I can tell when songs are synced perfectly in judge 7 fine... somewhere between judge 5 and 6 is around ddr arcade timing and judge 4 or so is around ddr home version timing.
