Oh I see, like operas and broadways and drama productions.
However, in FFR, we need to get the permission to use songs from the artist. And that would be quite difficult with these big-name plays.
Also, personally, I don't think I would like those kinds of songs in the game. And we definitely do not need a new genre. They could go in misc.

dag12 told me sometime before that it was impossible to add new genres... and that when Skill, Token, and Dance2 were added, some old genres were taken out. This is a flat out lie, isn't it? He also told me that you couldn't add any more purchased songs for a related reason.

Actually, when I joined there were only 9 genres: Dance, Hip-Hop, Funk, Arcade, Rock, Classical, Misc, Secret, and Purchased. If it's possible to add genre slots to the wheel, I see no reason they can't be taken out as well.

But yes, to Midday's question, no genre slots were removed. Token is #10, Dance2 is #11, and Skill Tokens is #12, I believe.

Yeah, there were never any genre's taken out of this game. There definitely were three put in as igotrhythm said.

If there was a limit of the number of genres (I don't think there is), then I could possibly see Funk and Hip-Hop getting dumped into Misc, but that would be probably the greatest extent of any consolidation.

Foilman: I think the person who tried to report you found your avatar to be in bad taste or something along those lines. Someone's death is never funny, and putting it in the context of a G/S/C battle is just wrong to both the memory of the deceased and to the Pokemon franchise's wholesome image in general.

Back on topic, I guess... derailed: I'm quite confused about how the current genres are sorted out... What is the significant difference between Dance and Misc? Dance2 has Epidermis and None Would Escape, while Misc has Frictional Nevada and Choprite... @_@

I think what happened is that Dance got too big, so a sort of mitosis happened and Dance2 is where all the more difficult Dance songs went.

I'm not asking about the difference between Dance and Dance2. That is obviously difficulty level.

I'm asking about the difference between Dance/Dance2 and Misc.

Also, I already said this before, but Touhou music should all be in Arcade. XD
