Actually, it is. I noticed that if you hit it late, then you get an average miss on a 5/6 framer, or something...seems stupid but that's what I noticed. And I got them anyways....or I could be wrong, but I got it several times, I'm confident it was an average-miss.

Uh, no. I'm almost positive the only framers you can average-miss on are 4 framers, 3 framers, 2 framers, 1 framers and obviously 0 framers. I tried to average miss on a 5/6 framer and I didn't. Even if you could ... CIA Rave is way too easy to be complaining about average misses on it, lol.

I love how this thread go jacked. It should be renamed or something because it has nothing to do with the avmiss fix anymore. PS CIA Rave avmisses? If you avmiss on CIA Rave you either happened to get misses and averages equal that weren't from avmisses, or you suck so hardcore that the computer decided to do the impossible. Like UBER SUCKFEST required for that.

lol There are no framers in CIA Rave. There are no 16th jacks in CIA Rave. Thus, there are no framers.

5-framers appear in songs w/ 151-180bpm 8th jacks, where you still can get av-misses by hitting late goods.

also 6-framers (129-150 bpm 8th jacks) can cause avmisses, but they're just hard to get.

Hopefully this fix happens soon. I got an avgmiss on frickin F. Vista was the main contributor to flash lag-induced avmiss action!

Maybe Synth wanted the glitch to make it different from Stepmania. You don't know... Maybe it was the way the game was supposed to run until people complained uncontrollably about it :P

If only these forums had the banghead smiley. IIRC, FFR was intended to be a straight copy of DDR. Though obviously it did not come out right and was missing some notable features such as stops and holds. However, the avmiss glitch was discovered by Shashakiro sometime in either '05 or '06 if memory serves calling the framers "fast" and "superfast" notes. It is impossible to know whether or not avmiss was intentional; although the wording of the occasional vague updating of "we're working on it" suggested that the glitch was deeply nested in the code implying that it was not planted there.
