Tips For A FMO FC?

Yeah. Like the title sugests, I need tips for my first FMO FC. I don't wanna mash, 'cuz everyone can do that, and I don't consider it a real FC then. If you have strategies for jacks, trills, or the 172nd notes (those are white, right?) then please post help here. I'm working on Hajnal (by far my best FMO song) and Silence (I can't get over a 500 combo!).

Also, if there are any VC songs anyone can suggest I practice on to make FMO songs easier, OTHER THAN Monstrous Turtles!, then please tell me.

Practice.

Plus when the fix goes public it'll be alot easier.

I got my first FMO FC after practicing on stepmanina. To work on FC'ing FMO's I would say work on your PA in stepmania as that will help you get consitent runs.

I would also say to play faster songs to get your finger speed up and play longer songs to get your stamina up. I think that playing that practicing in SM on the average speedy long song, will get you the FC the fastest.

Play harder songs then Hajnal and Silence as you will improve at a faster rate if your are challenging yourself more.

Since I've FC'd about five, I'd say

a. read patterns, strange patterns might be confusing, but be familiar with streams, tripplets, rolls, left right up down pattern, jumps, and jumpstreams (runningmen are only in a few FMO songs)

b. I have learned that there is a glitch here that makes you get averages and misses on some songs, I suggest hitting the note a little early in that case, helped me

c. fast fingers, practice so your hands don't cramp, once you FC, then go for PA

Watch Youtube vids by Thaor and other high SM players watching for patterns and note sequences. (rofl i sometimes click inside the screen and play along with them).
