"finaaal's" cheat?
About an hour ago my cousin "finaaal" randomly googled for his name and "ffr" and some weird stuff popped up about people accusing others of using that particular cheat and stuff.
What the...?
I just want to get one thing straight here: I wrote the cheat and for as far as I know it has not been spread any further than my cousin finaaal, who later sent it to Synthlight, who in turn updated FFR so the cheat doesn't work anymore (an update to dark mode, I apologize for that, I never thought a cheat like this would have such an impact). I must admit that I had updated the cheat so it works again, but really, I'm pretty sure it has not been uploaded or spread.
I never meant any harm when I wrote the cheat. I just wanted to prove to myself that I could do it. And to my cousin, of course, who showed me the game in the first place... That was stupid apparently, or rather, he was stupid enough to use it on a large scale and actually upload youtube videos of it. Good for him that he's been succesfully IP-banned.
Now, I don't mind if I get banned for this, I have it coming. In fact, I PMed Synthlight about banning my account, but he was kind enough to merely remove my scores. What I don't want, is other people to be falsely accused of using it and being banned for it. The reason I'm posting this now is because my cousin told me there was some sort of flash update which screwed up all the FFR memory hacks; or, pretty much all other cheats. And because I didn't have the guts to, before.
If the cheat has been spread for some reason beyond explaination, I've included a screenshot of the only version that still works. If anyone has seen this program available for download anywhere, please post the location here and I'll try to have it removed.
