It's very different now when I first started this game 2.75 years ago on my first account. I had never thought that it would reach to this sort of intensity that we actually had social networking and Mainstream music permission thus allowing all these newcomers to join that don't really do much but FFRspace. I think synthlight is doing a good job even though I don't like the sort of traffic we get. I liked it much better when it was not as popular but I don't think websites are created just to keep people away from them. Synth is just trying to make this site much better when it all comes down to it.

The mainstream music is all for the better, giveing more opportunities for stepfiles and new songs, aswell as bringing more artists to the game to create an better environment for the musical aspect.

All in all the system should be flushed FFR put down for an fair amount of time, an beta server to record things while the main systems down, then emails sent to the profiles that are in concern. The system need not be bogged down by as you call it FFRspacers.

This thread is misleading. In saying "FFR has lost all tact", you're inferring that the admins/mods have ruined the community. Rather, with the growth of FFR it's becoming ruined by the people that come on. And I don't really care about those people who chose to flaunt themselves on here.

I'm glad you think you're a revolutionary - but I hope you're realistic about what small effect you hold on this community and in the forums.

A clear majority is forming that opposes your stipulation that FFR is losing some sort of credibility. The fact that you call for the website to be shut down so some profiles can be expunged is completely beyond asinine. The roots of FFR are deeper than a few people who like to misuse one small section of the website.

I realize you may have been here slightly longer than I have, but as I implied earlier, these things can't be predicted a easily as you think. This "plague" can be recovered from. FFR is a flexible, tightly wound, and stable website. The mods here actually care about the users (even though it may not seem like it) and will listen to the complaints of veterans and newbies alike. FFR is currently drifting back towards the gaming oriented way, thanks to some user complaints posted in the forum by veterans who didn't want to lose their game to a bunch of freeloading FFRspacers.

If my vote counts at all, I don't see how giving people the option of being more social on an internet site takes away from that site's tact. FFR would lose tact if it encouraged inappropriate ways of using those options. Tact maybe isn't your best choice of words; then again, neither is credibility =/

The people who are here for the game will play the game, and share their experiences amongst each other, no matter what other users are doing. You can't "lose the game"; it's not going anywhere

It's not entirely so profiles can be expunged. It is meerly yo reorder the near orderless site.
Open my eyes to what exactly? Everything that has transpired on the site in the past years? Kid? What of the seniors that stick to themselves voteing nay one the site lossing credit? Have they, or even you waded in the shallow waters of the site. Veiwed constant Tos Violations. Withy no avail to haveing them corrected.

And to oilers, an simple fact that as many call it the Users that have no power make the power of the site. The Admins/mods have done nothing to ruin it, yet on the same side of the coin, there are mods and admin that do almost nothing to help it. Yes they control and keep things regulated in their areas. Though understaffed they must get credit. The main problem being understaffed.

You talk about new users like they're actually tearing apart the fabric of the community. The bottom line is that more users = a good thing for FFR. Ignoring stupid users should not be a problem. To prove my point, please watch me ignore this thread from now on.

Well, you are the one presenting the argument. So, we are speaking to you about it. We will either agree with you or disagree with you, but in the end there is essentially two sides, and you sort of represent the one that thinks FFR is falling

FFR as a game is keeping alive, with regular updates. Although it is nice to have profiles, it really shouldn't be a center to only use profiles. If you want to hit on girls, go to myspace. FFR is a game, I don't comprehend those who don't use forums or the game.

Those whom create new profiles, fake ones with stolen pictures, some make second accounts to hide the shame of their gaming past, or to hide their gaming prowess.

I create alt accounts to play MP, and it's for none of those reasons. I do it because most of the time when I play on this account I get accosted with people asking for simfile advice, and people who just want to talk when I want to play (I'm not saying I don't like to talk to people but sometimes I just want to play). then when I do play I either a) get stuck only playing my files (which is cool but I kinda enjoy playing the wide variety of music FFR has to offer) or b) get stuck playing FGOs and stupid crap like FotBB 9 million times because people want to see me play hard stuff rather than fun stuff. I play for fun and it's much easier to do that as a nonentity.
