Do you play to the rhythm or do you just hit notes as you see them?

    devonin made me lol.

I play with no sound on every song, I turn off my speakers, But when I'm playing just to kill time, I turn my speakers on. That's only in ffr though, in sm, I keep my speakers on.

For Index, the beat doesn't matter too much for me, in fact my school computers dont have speakers so I play with no sound usually (unless I have my headphones)

But for songs I make or for DDR/ITG, I follow the rhythm. I tend to also make files that folloow the rhythm. Otherwise it's not a dance file. (Not that a lot of my files are truly dance files but close enough )
The minute you forget to think about tomorrow, you lose everything.

      download my sims now =3:

Well when I sightread a song, I play with the notes. Depending on how the notes are shaped, I'll know how the beat will go. Then as I know the song, I stop looking at the notes and play with the beats. Hell, I just stare at the middle of the screen just to get an idea of what the arrows will be, and then hit them.

Of course, if I see the an arrow I hit isn't to the beat, I fix that. Like in Rondo Alla Turca in Classic... I have to like, rewind it a bit.

I got a ~250 combo or something, and the boos and misses are because of the parts where you get and overflow of arrows. I'm still unable to do those parts (unless I mash), and you get, like, 2-3 whole minutes of those. But I got very good at the beginning, and also the later parts, between the massive arrow barrages.
And I've got a 1174 combo on Eternal Nightmare.
And anyway, I never said that I can go on AAAing the songs with my eyes closed. I've said that different keyboards don't change my performance.
