It should be fine. If you are going to look for something around that price range though, you should probably find something non lighted. Most of the price there is the lighted keys. Mostly, any wire keyboards should be fine.

What's so great about a lighted keyboard? The screen on the monitor gives me enough light to see the keys just fine.

You shouldn't need ANY light on your keyboard. You should be able to get by easily with a keyboard with no printed labels on the keys at all.

The best keyboard for FFR is a cheap wired. It will work fantastically and won't have stupid ass key positions, the keys should be nice and responsive, and of course, it won't cost a bloody fortune.

I wasn't saying that anyone should buy that keyboard for that price. I was just using it as an example. You're actually better off NOT seeing the keyboard.

If it was me, I'd just spray paint my keyboard or something if I cared that much.

I usually use my computer early in the morning (2-4am'ish), and my keyboard is usually on a keyboard tray, under the table. I don't have the lights on for the most part, so I can't see the keys. I mean, I can type homerow in the dark and write fine, but when I'm playing FFR or using Photoshop (hotkeys), I often mess up. I play numpad on FFR, and sometimes I'll realize I'm hitting 57/9 instead of 2486.

Not to mention my monitor brightness is turned down at night to about 40%; hurts my eyes when it's any brighter in such dark conditions. Illuminated keyboards are more useful to some people than you think; I really want one.

Why do you need light on your keyboard?
Just memorize where the keys are.
OP has been here 2.5 years. That's more than enough time on a computer let alone FFR to memorize where the keys are.

I don't know, but I have them The only problem with mine is that the up arrow doesn't jack as good as the others, so if there are up jacks in a song, I'm pretty much screwed.
