Flash will only save and export up to 16,000 frames, which is very roughly around 8 minutes for FFR (30 fps) and 4 minutes for SIU (60 fps). Thus, obviously, a 30 minute song (and very obviously, an hour-long song) isn't feasible.

Xelius is working on forming a template that moves from one layer to the next in a file to see if we can extend that running time, but I haven't heard from him since then. Maybe it was so difficult it made him insane and he's currently swimming across the Atlantic Ocean on a mission to attack me. I doubt that is true, but at least that gives you something to talk about at your office's water cooler tomorrow.

I asked Tass if he knew how to go beyond 16,000 frames and found out you couldn't. What followed thereafter was about 10 IMs of Tass swearing because he realized what that meant for TMWT.

Blah, I personally think it would be a good idea. But yea, the loading time for it would be pretty homosexual. Definitely an interesting concept. Oh yea, the other thing is, I think most people here would play it only ONCE...then after that, "BAM", gone forever.
