Just my little chain of thought, but these days I have homework during the holidays and haven't touched FFR in 3 days. Guess what, I come back and I can't even combo CIA rave. DOes anyone else feel that you just grow crappier if you dont play, even for a day or two?

no, I get better when I don't play XD
I didn't play for two months and when I came back, I could play challenging songs "well" (I was playing VD songs "badly" before) -
Re: Away from FFR experince?
Not necessarily... I mean, it depends. If you combed CIA rave on a lucky run, it shouldn't be a surprise if you can't do it anymore after a few days break. I mean, yeah if you don't practice/play for awhile, I'm sure you will be "rusty", but I would think that requires a lot more of a break, say a few months.Comment

1 or 2 day break I get better. 1 month I am crappy for a day and then regain skill at a incredible rate.

I think that when you take long periods of breaks(a day or two), then your wrists get to have a little time off, and they're less tense than they usually are.
Just what I think.Comment

Re: Away from FFR experince?
I often don't touch FFR for months at a time and notice huge skill decreases. But after about 2 weeks of solid playing it all comes back. 3 days off isn't enough to make a noticeable difference for me though.Comment

I took a 4-day break on a ski trip, and I came back to suck the first 10 runs through... But afterwards, I started to get back to normal... Although it may be because I'm not playing as much as I used to... Need to get back in the habit of that.
