I don't get it

I've been playing here for a looong time.
One of my favorite songs was when Crystalis House Leaves Remix came out.
Loved played that thing, but couldn't FC it back then. Of course back then I couldn't FC anything above 3 or 4 bars of diificulty.
I've progressed a lot since then, and can now FC up into the Challenging areas(9 bars).

But yet this song I still can't hit right.
No matter how fast I hit the keys, the areas where it has the same key 3-4 times really fasyt, it just won't go.

I've FC'ed songs like Maple Leaf Rag, and Switchback (Heavy) and Kaleidoscope.
And gotten within 1-2 misses on Very Challengings.
So my fingers can move quickly, but no matter how fast they go, I can't seem to hit the double notes like in 100 Bar Blackout and Crystalis.
These two are annoying me all to hell that I can't get them FC'ed.

I even tried sitting for 15 minutes each finger, just going as fast as I could repeatedly on a single key on notepad.
I can't improve the speed of my hits much more than it is.

Yet some of you guys hit things like this without even thinking about it.
Any suggestions or hints would be appreicated.

BTW:
I play spread (86 on right hand, left/down on left hand)
I play 175% speed
and Down mod.

You're getting a thing called "average-misses". They happen if you hit too late on two consecutive repeated notes and you wind up hitting the later note instead of the first one. They are called "framers".

Hitting early helps avoid this, but it could mess with your accuracy.

This is a "4-framer". Hitting on one of the frames with an arrow next to it will cause you to hit the second note instead of the first one and make you miss it as a result. Crystalis has 3-framers and 100BB has 2-framers. The only difference is since they're closer together, they overlap more. You're forced to get a Good on 2-framers, or else you will miss.

If you're just going for the FCs, I'd advise tapping well before the notes scroll into place, and well after the arrows have been hit, hitting the same arrow as fast as you can all the way through.

Average misses aren't cool. =/

Adding on, Crystalis has tons of 3-framers. 2 arrows are seperated by 3 frames, and if you hit any bit later than the early perfect frame (there are three), you automatically average-miss- hitting an average on the second arrow and getting a miss on the first. It's a glitch.

100BB has 2-framers, 3-framers, and 4-framers. With 2-framers, you have to hit on the good frame or earlier or you average-miss. With 4-framers, if you hit during the late perfect frame or after, you will average-miss. I've noticed average-good-misses when there's only 2 arrows though; no clue how that works.

Always wondered what that term meant.
I would hear 3 framer that and 4 framer this, and not have a clue.

I did figure out the trick though.
Apparently - if I rant about the song on the forums it complies.
For 3+ years I've never FC'ed Crystalis.
Just for ****s and giggles I played it.
First try. FC with 12 Good's....

Weird.

Yes, I know I can't hit AAA's to save my life, but what ya gonna do. :\
I guess I gotta just keep on chugging.

And NPV I kept getting that on 100BB.
on the 11th-12th notes.
I'd hit Avg-Good, and then the last note would drop off.
I'd have a 12 combo, and it'd miss.
That kept pissing me off. :P

Well, that's good to hear. Practice getting better PA on framers, and you can have a less frustrating life.

I also have no idea what PA means.

The only terms I'm familiar with (after 3 years I know, you'd think I'd pay more attention)
FC
AAA
FGO
FMO
and now framers

And npv if you read this, I have to ask.
How did you get so good?
Just tons and tons of practice?
Or do you play high level speed mods, or what?

You can see by my little siggy that I've played quite a bit, but I kinda want to know how long it's gonna take before I'm not just mashing on FGO or some FMO songs.
