A couple questions...

What's the point of key remapping?
What are tier points and how do I get them?
And any advice on how to get less perfects on a song? I've tried turning the music off and using different mixes of settings. =/

- Some people find it easier than the arrow keys because then your fingers are all in a single row, as opposed to being slightly staggered on the arrows.

- Tier Points are a rough way of judging skill, but in a different way than ranks. You get tier points by fulfilling certain scores (generally FC's or better) on Very Difficult and higher songs. There's a list here. More detailed info about this here.

- Put the "Dark" mod on to hide the arrows, then focus on hitting the arrows on a spot different than where they actually are. Basically, pretend that the arrows are farther up or down on the screen. And make sure to turn the sound off.
