    upload your own song?

    I heard from a friend that you can upload your own song on FFR and then play to it like other songs... is that true?

      rofl no, you can upload it on stepmania, then make your own steps, then send it to ffr, wait a few weeks/months, gets in the game if its good, then you can play it

          Note that you can only submit songs to FFR that FFR has permission to put into the game.

                  You can also upload stepfiles on the FFR simfile database and play them there as well. The only exception is, they cannot contain any BPM or stops (resonance doesn't support them) Otherwise your stepchart will only be available for download.

                  Anyhow, I admit the syncing in resonance isn't the best, but basically you still have your arrows to a song all put together for online game play.
