    is there any way to play ffr on a pad

    hey i was wondering is there anyway to play ffr on a dance pad? If so how do you do it?

    yea there is.. there is a program out, i dont have a linkage for it, that takes joypad keypresses and tells the comp its from the keyboard arrow keys.. sorry i dont have the link, but atleast you know there is one.

      Unfortunately this doesn't work with FFR, because of boos. Basically you'd get booed to death if you're standing on the arrow for more than a brief instant.

        yeah thats right...if you keep your finger on the arrow too long then it will register a whole bunch of boos...so it must be the same with the pad...if you keep your foot on the arrow it will register a shit load of boos

            The above reason and the fact that a Greater majority of songs have way to many steps to be playable on a pad make this topic kind of dumb.

              i have played on a pad
              and failed within 10 steps, because i cant hop off the arrow that quick

                i figured out how to fix that problem, if you go to the control panel, you can change the repeat delay time and how fast it repeats the key held. if you put both of these at the lowest setting, you should have plenty of time to get of the arrow. though it probably still doesnt work that well.
