FFR already has more than three MAX's.. which is bad ENOUGH.

*EDIT: And more than three Disconnected's, if I recall correctly. At least we don't hear Wish and it's remixes one billion times whenever we walk into an arcade, already.

Really. Tass, what is up with that? How come you aren't saying, "We don't need a third/fourth Disconnected file in the game."? I'm starting to think that this is because you have something personal against me.

FFR itself has Neomax, Maxx Attaxx, Max Forever, Disconnected, Disconnected Mobius, two more Disconnecteds on the queue, BB Evolution, BB Revenge, BB Euro, 5 TGWP files (while it is technically the same song broken up, there are five files here), and three Driveways (and the same file, even).

As for Wish, the two Wish files out there right now actually sound quite different. Wish (for FFR) is more techno-based and devoid of vocals, and Wish (Kyrn Remix) has vocals and sounds TOTALLY different. Wish (Reprise) version sounds like an old-school Nintendo remix of Wish (For FFR). If accepted, the Wish series would be akin to the BB series and Max series:

Wish (For FFR) similar to Wish (Reprise), and Wish (Kyrn Remix) sounding much different
BB Evolution similar to BB Euro, and BB Revenge sounding much different.
Max Forever similar to Maxx Attaxx, and Neomax sounding much different

Technically, much like all the other countless V2's on this site (which are, in fact, the same songs with different steps), you have a couplet of songs under the same name heading, only in these cases you have one other remix sounding much different. You aren't having the same file three times over like you are with something like Driveway. There was even a Party 4U V1 that was deleted only due to framer issues. Would you still have a V3 right now if that file had not been removed?

I've played the file and it's pretty solid -- the steps fit the music well and it's not going to cause any unneccessary jack syndrome any time soon, and I don't feel like there are overused patterns or anything of the like. It's fun and fits the general flow of all other FFR songs on this site. If jimerax and Rebirth0 both feel the file is worthy of entry, then really, there's no concrete reason to keep it from being entered since it doesn't really break any rules of extra oversimilarity with respect to the number of remixes. I think the current revision of the file should have another look-over for serious consideration.

Very nicely put, Rubix. When you take into consideration of those sets of songs, it makes no sense that Tass isn't allowing this one. Also, iPatcH doesn't have a song of his in the game, currently. It would be nice for him to have one in, after how long he has been with FFR.

It isn't the song I have on the database, since I don't want to expose the file to the public. I don't want to spread it out to everyone, so you will have to trust Rebirth, Jimerax, and Rubix's critique on the file for now. I will keep people updated as I hear more from the judges on the file.

Frankly, I'm in for the song since I dont have any of Hammy's files in my SM.

Not to say he sucks, if IIRC Tass turned it down over the song, not the steps.
