They were part of the original song set when FFR just started (way before I registered, but played occasionally), and back then, they did not seek out artist permissions as they do now. Of course, naturally, I'm doubtful Square-Enix would allow them to use it, which is probably a much bigger issue than 0 and 2-framers.
Nothing like a lawsuit from a huge gaming company.
