hello I'm wondering if you could give me some pointers on earning credits, and really hard song, I'm also wondering what things could i do outside of ffr to increase my speed

practice. that's by far the #1 key to getting better.


also, switch to playing with 4 fingers (index and middle of each hand) if you don't play that way currently. it'll probably feel weird at first, but in the long run, you'll improve much faster.

Try using your middle and ring finger of each hand for extreme play. Rofl it feels really weird.

yeah practice with useing only your index fingers thats what i do and i get like over 15 credits every time i play lol.

There's a lot of ways to play FFR, but the fastest and best way to play two handed with your index and middle finger.

play however is comfotable for you....

i started index, and switched to 3 fingers...i find it to be alot more comfortable, and i saw instant improvement....

Play more. Don't keep playing easy songs and play stuff that is challenging for you.

Just practice. You also might want to try experimenting with speed mods. Also, you can try screen cutting. That is where you shrink the screen so you don't see the arrows coming quite as soon. It's a bit of a mentality: having to react faster + seeing less arrows = potentially better skills.

Do not play with 1 hand.

Play with 2 hands, 3-4 fingers. This way you'll get better at harder songs faster (re: spread biased songs; lolEHHS/Silence), instead of hitting a rut with most one hand players going "I can FC a VC song lolol" instead of "I can AAA a VC".

Don't get me wrong, there are good one handers out there, but 2 hands is probably the only way to get awesomely good.

Credits: Get good scores on songs you can get good combo on.
Hard songs: Practice is the key.
Speed and Accuracy: Stepmania.
