Do you have to pass the song if it doesn't specify to in the Skill Token page?

Like I'm wondering if I should try for Distant Land. Would I have to pass that to get it?

I would assume so, but it would be nice if they made all of the skills tokens say whether or not they required passing in their descriptions.

No it doesn't. Most of them it doesn't tell you if it requires pass or not, but some of them are obvious if they do or not, and some are not.

But you could use autofail to meet the req it says without passing, but I doubt it'd give it to you.

If you get to 700 combo, which is like 4/5ths of the song, and can get under 20 goods, I don't see any reason NOT to pass it.

But you could go over the boo req or something in that last part of it, which you might not if you'd used autofail. So you could earn this with slightly less skill if aufofail is allowed, so it does matter.

i actually forget whether we set a pass req on that or not. but, my guess is that we did.


MOST of the reqs I did note whether or not you need to pass if it isn't obvious (aka, songs where you have to FC OR songs where it's clear you can't pass and get the req).

Just a little random thought here...

I got Distant Land with autofail... I just guessed I would get about 9 goods at 700 combo, turned out I was right, and was able to stop fast enough to not get any misses...

Could I have finished? Probably...
