But I got it, so Anybody 4 and under is now safe.

Wrong, I've played this song about 150 times, and I still dont have it. I will slaughter all the babies that come in my path until I do get it (which prolly wont be anytime soon.)

      Stupidest requirement ever.

Oh god thanks for the warning

And oh yeah- 25 people then- That's minus one because Tass has all skill tokens by default

I very much agree with this. Make this the token to end all crappy good/average whoring skill tokens.

A good chunk of that is probably mine lmao. I set the thing to autofail on misses and land what, 20 goods each try before getting a random miss?

Playing it on 2.0x doesn't work for me since that's what I play on normally, and 3.0x makes me land too many perfects. :P

                Re: Starman requirement thread.

Ok, my turn to vent/voice my opinion.

I was the 8th person to unlock this, only to fail numerous times at things like 13 perfects 20 perfects 11 perfects.

Its a pain in the ass no doubt. However, you need to give credit where credit is due. You CANNOT say that this is based on luck. There is not a single player in the game that is THIS bad to get this skill token. There is no luck involved here, this is all skill. This is FFR.

However, I agree with the last point Shash made. It's not fun to do. I look at these things differently though: Instead of being something that should constantly fun, I view them as kind of FFR Quests. Something that can't be expected to be fun but achievable.

To put it simple, I know there are people better than me and people who have just as many tokens as I do, but if there weren't tokens this hard, I would easily have every token the game throws out at me, and to me, I'd rather have a token that would take me forever to get, then get everything within two or three tries.

I got Zephon 3rd Try, I SHOULD HAVE gotten Midnight 2nd try, (Blackflagged it, but no token award), Samurai Road I got on my 3rd or 4th try. Party 4 U was 3rd or 4th. I'm glad this song made me play it like 15+ times. It's a change from the norm.

Skill isn't just how accurate you hit the arrows in my eyes. It requires an array of different things. Adjusting to different speeds, different playing styles, playing different mods, and changing your timing is one of them. That requires an enormous amount of control.

I hated trying to get this token, without a doubt, but I loved the challenge it presented. So much so that I wasn't going to stop until I got it.

                Tips:

For those looking to still do this. You'll need to be rather good at this game. The easiest way to do this (at least it was for me) is to set it at 1.75x and screen cut up to the judgment. Wait for the arrow to come up and rise JUST ABOVE the arrow placeholders. YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE AVERAGES THIS WAY ONLY PERFECTS AND MISSES. When you begin to accrue the combo I was staring directly into the judgment portion and just listened to my hand taps. I also recommend you mute the song.

Oh and don't make the prize token 18 for those who got it if they change the req. I have that already Make it something else.

Got it first try after seeing Tayfun's hint.

Just play at like 1.5-2x and use dark. Pretend the arrows are at the very top of the screen...you'll get goods very easily.

Back to whoring ESC ...I'll never get battle ax...lol

This skill token sucks. I hated it, even though I've completed it and actually kind of liked the song it unlocked. It was absolutely no fun whatsoever. It took me many tries, although I didn't count, and has screwed me up to the point where it was the first time I was ever disgusted to hear the main menu music when picking a song, which I've loved since my first game, and even earlier today. I don't expect this one to be changed just b/c so many people say so like this, let's just hope they get better guys. Honestly, I think they're getting worse and worse each day. I feel like, if things continue like this, I won't want to play anymore by the end of the month. I'm really not having a good time doing these requirements. We need more stuff that's actually doing good. Almost all of these skill tokens involve me changing my screencut/speed mods to try to do them, and that doesn't please me much, either.

They should make the skills tokens appear on level ranking if that possible so everyone can try their best to get them all.

Yea, I'm often disagreeing with shash, but I totally agree now. I mean, tokens actually based on skill you can go practice playing normally and get better, and then be able to get easier. This, if you go play stuff normally for a year, and then try again, you might find it harder to not get perfects than before. If you can't get this token, there's really not much to do to practice. It's just whoring Mario over and over again until you happen to do it. Most of the people capable of doing it reasonably have probably already done so, so I doubt the number of people that have unlocked this will increase much anymore after 24 hours from now, or even from this point.

                              Re: Starman requirement thread.

All I am saying is that you have to look at it from a more objective standpoint. Some won't like it, others won't mind, but some may like it because it's easier than nearly AAAing {Rose} to them. It tests a different skill. If you get every token in freaking 3 tries, what challenge is that? Some tokens should be so hard that they take a long time to get. I like that these tokens cater to different types of skill. That way they are a challenge to everyone, and levels the playing field. Some things will be easier for beginners or those with off-timing, and some will be easier for accuracy-whores.

While I personally hate this token, I think it's a token that still deserves to be there.

Just don't make too many of these kind. An example, in my opinion, of a fair skill token is Hellbeat V2. That one is beautiful and tests some skill in a way that is challenging but doesn't require something like AAA. Things like this are ideal.
