    Is The Judging Too Tight?

It's like practically impossible for me to AAA anything, let alone have great PA on harder songs.

My connection doesn't lag (only in MP), and I keep getting goods when I think that should have been perfect. To me, the judging is way too tight.

So who else thinks the judgments are too tight?

Actually, I think the windows are actually pretty lenient. Working under tighter conditions makes you better anyways, just go with it, other people have mastered it.

It's easier to get an AAA than at the arcade, or Stepmania, so don't complain.

Easier then any other rythm game. Maybe you just suck at PA like me and many other people.

I think R1's judging is close to SM's judge 2 setting. Not that difficult at all.

IIRC, it is closer to J3. but, yea. regardless... it is easier than SM.

Yeah, it's pretty good. It has to be due to C300 and the jack issue and everything, so it's only fair to make it a little easier I guess.

You get .1 seconds for a perfect (not centered around the arrow but still that length regardless), and .2 seconds (I think) for a combo. That's really really really lenient.

Don't blame the judging for your fingers not being fast enough to hit the arrows.

Well, I have fast fingers (I practiced with CIA Rave on here and Energizer Heavy and Oni on SM), but the thing is kinda cheating me out of some points.

if anything your probably used to 1 judge on sm witch has a WAY bigger window for Marvelous compared to the ffr's perfect

Re: Is The Judging Too Tight?

I can't even FC some things on FFR that I can either AAAA or nearly AAAA on SM.

I mean, my timing on FFR is still far ahead of my comboability, but it's a real pain in the ass on FFR, in my opinion. I just don't like how everything is done.
I knew this was coming. I just knew it. But somehow, I didn't stop, because maybe I expected someone would stop me first.

I only use JL1 (Judgement Level 1) on SM for practicing, I normally use JL3 or 4.

But the timing window is easier in there.

The timing window is not too hard, many people can AAA plenty of the songs, and almost every song in the game has been AAA'd by multiple people.

I don't see what the problem is. Just get your timing right.
