Hey guys here's a tip: If you want to play speedmods, play ffr low res, they don't make it choppy or lag-ish, well for me it doesn't.

They work just fine for me. Then again, this computer was probably the most up-to-date model before Vista came out.

When I click the Low Res link, the game is the old version without speedmods. I've tried clearing my cache and such, and it's the same.

EDIT: OK that's weird. I played it on a mirror and it was fine.

That just made me think of something.. What if we had an adjustable automatic screen cut feature that you could set? I could have that ready in a day or so for the subscribers to test.

Okay, Speed mods are wierd, I get much better PA, It seems like the window for perfects is much larger now, But I get 1 or 2 averages where I shouldn't......FIX NOW

The judges are done in beat not in visual. The beat doesn't change but its just more streched out and thus the arrows must move faster.

Also the average thing is probably not a bug.

i highly doubt it.

Anyways, the speed mods seem to help me but not very much. If i really concentrate i can get rank 20-30 on a lot of songs but I stay away with anything that has jacks because playing those with speedmods is retarded if you can screencut.

It's not a flaw in the system that says "put average at random places to piss off", your just probably experiencing some lag.

It's all a matter of preference.. Some people like screen cutting and some altering the speed of the arrows.

probably cuz the speed mods are a bit wierd in the fact that when you go to higher speed mods, av-misses go WAY higher, the subscribers found out about a week ago-- and this is still a public release early..
