Fast Songs, Hitting Arrows, Help Please.

Okay, I've been playing this game for quite a long time, my rank is almost in the top 700, and I'd say I'm a pretty good player. I use different Finger Styles, like, ASKL or < ^ 8 6. But I find that I just can't hit the arrows fast enough on some of the tougher songs, although I can read the arrows in my mind, and know what arrows to hit, it just doesn't seem I can hit them fast enough. Does anyone have any suggestions for Finger Layouts? Or, what are good keyboards for playing FFR? I notice that the keys on some keyboard are more sensitive then others, mine is just in the middle I'd say, not too tough, but not too sensitive. I have Microsoft Media Keyboard. Anyways, any suggestions would be great, Thanks.

Just practice, a lot.

Being to hit the fast arrows is directly related to your finger speed. Practicing often will gradually increase your finger speed and stamina. The key layout will change it slightly, but not drastically, unless you play something really awkward, like d, r, u, k, or 3, d, k, 9...

For the most part, practice is key.

I find the most comfortable position to be as spread out as the keyboard will allow (qw89, zx23, etc).

I use cv<>. Its spread out, at the bottom of the keyboard, and pretty comfortable for me.

lol If my keyboard actually registered those keys well I'd probably use it. Or maybe shift z 3 enter.
