Reading this thread I just realized d.set is possible in FFR.

Jafar, checking out your level ranks I would suggest switching to index or c.spread at the least

Is a double setup actually considered cheating?

I mean, I can see how having 8 fingers mashing at once is just dumb but using two sets of keys makes any song indexable, if you can think that way. It makes me feel like I'm playing DDR when I use two keypads because I can do the crossovers without using one hand to do 4 of the steps (42624 or whatever).

I tried changing to using two fingers each on two pads but I never get it to work so back to two hands on the number pad I went.

I definitaly dont think its cheating, while i does give the player a huge advantage on songs with any jumpstreams and/or alot of consecutive up/down arrows. But for many people, it is very hard to do trills with their non-dominant hand, so theirs a disadvantage for two hands too.

its kind of weird when you came to play ffr for the first time to even think of 2 hands ... for me its a right claw like hand position useing all the fingers except the pinky

My first intuition when I first started playing was to two use one hand -- right and middle just like a little guy playing ddr (funny mental image) but it was too hard to do jumps so i switched to using two hands.

Double setup is CHEATING. CHEATING, CHEATING, CHEATING.

Goodness, there's been an increase in that question since Vertex BETA vrofl.

As for two hands, NOT CHEATING. In fact, it's a smart move, though a few one handers can beat me.

Double setup is generally useless, anyway >.< Though I've considered having my gf do up and right on the numpad as I do down and left on the keys ^^;
