Basshunter will be hard and there are some more than amazing techno songs out there, ill find some lol

if possible, if anyone wishes to, ask around for permissions, im trying, but yeah just to help the cause ^_^

hopefully if we got the permission and the song, itd be one of the next tokens we can only hope

This thread is full of a lot of fail:

A) I'm not aware of a Basshunter song called "The Basshunter Song". I might just be missing it, but I'm a pretty big Basshunter fan.

B) AAA is just a remix of A and AA by DJ Amuro. I always thought you had to get permission from the original author even when it is a remix. Then again, we do have Klungkung already up here.. so it's not like we haven't accepted Bemani remixed on FFR, before.

C) To this comment: "Screw all these small permissions, go for the big one, go for Bemani!!".. "Bemani" is not one artist. It is the combination of music games produced by Konami. The music on the games is by a variety of artists, all of which we'd have to get permission from, individually.

D) Though we'd need the permissions.. A++ to KBarks for suggesting a Yoji Biomehanika song. Just throwin' that out there.


So yeah. We already have many threads with artist blanket permissions. If you are in touch with any of these popular "techno" artists that you love so much, by all means.. write a formal e-mail or letter asking to get their blanket permission for use of their music on FFR. Ask Rebirth0 or someone if you are clueless as to what exactly to include in your message. Otherwise, this thread does not need to exist as it will only cause more suggestions of songs and artists we do not have blanket permissions for.

well referrring to Draigun's post, "the basshunter song" is made by bashunter, but it is made by fl studio artists and its time consuming and ive been asking some of those artists i they would allow me to have an mp3 file and step it

i have yet to receive a reply but im working on it

in the mean time, most people can get permissions like no tomorrow,
not only am i going to get permissions, but other people can try too, itd help a cause

so yeah, ill get back to everyone else on these things, plus theres the queue
so lets try and hope lol ^_^

someone should Step this hour and a half long mix by a local DJ in my town, i found this mix on the site of a rave im going to this week:
