okay now this is weird i find it alot easier to play FFR with no sound i got all my best scores while playing with no sound try this and tell me if this works for you

A lot of people play like this. It pretty much only helps (in my case at least) on off-beat songs (Terror From Beyond, Rondo V1). I don't usually do it because I like listining to the music (is that not that the reason they have music?)
