That was either a post for attention or a post for getting 1 more post. 3 finger index is an oxymoron, unless you manage to grow a 3rd hand with a spiffy index finger.

Someone may have meant something else...3 index is just....wrong lol, it doesn't even sound right. Only 3 fingered technique I know is 1 handed..

2 hands 3 fingers is what he meant by 3 finger index I think.

Use both indexes and one middle finger. I use my left index for down and left, right index for up, down, and sometimes right if there's fast jumps. Right middle for right, I use it for any trill with the right arrow, just feels wierd if right index does it. Also, with this setup, you need to get used to fast rolls and doing up-left trills one handed.

Ah, thanks Shash. The one that was mainly confusing me was the spread though. Index is kinda self-explanitory, so I guess this thread was halfway legitamit? lol
