Make sure you have no other Flash apps running, that will cause some glitches in the playback of FFR games.

Try decreasing the quality of the images. Click on the "Q" button in the top left hand corner until the circle with the genre name is distorted. It won't improve load time but it might get rid of lag...

I haven't had any lag problems, the only thing I noticed is when I play FFR on full screen it goes slower, but thats due to me playing screenshrink then going back.

the lagging for me has also been in the past 48 hours. It might just deal with the fact that my comp sucks and ffr has recently gotten 1000k and dance2 and token songs.

It's been years since FFR has lagged on me. But, you know, it was actually the computer I was on as opposed to FFR itself.

most of the problems sound like computer problems. My computer used to lag crazy with FFR, cuz i had 128 RAM and ran XP. (yeah, i know. wtf. but my dad insisted...) but now we upgraded to 512 RAM and it lags ZERO. The loading time, as mentioned would be because they tacked on quite a few KBs with the new songs and new categories.

The only one i'm uncertain about: the arrows going .5x then the music stopping. I've never experienced that. and thinking logically, that makes no sense whatsoever. I could understand the lag where it stops and then goes, but slowing down, and then music just stopping. That sounds more like your comp has a problem loading the song. That happened to me with The Games We Played where i only saw half the arrows cuz my cache got corrupt somehow.

This is really getting me down, I used to play FFR all the time, last time I did was last month, but then we switched to Charter internet and ever since then the regular game doesn't work at all but R2 and SpinItUp do... Is this wide-spread and am I living under a rock or is it just me? If so any ideas?

I've been getting arrow lagging all day. Like my arrows go fine and smooth for a second, and then lag and than go back and forth :S.

First off, don't bump threads (I overreact sometimes, but this is just ridiculous).

Second off, clean up that grammar.

Third, if you'd check the front page like everyone else did, you'd know that a server died, although the site appears to be getting better.
