Is Their Any Accurate Way To Rank?

My rank is in the 7 thousands out of the 1.1 million who play ffr. I just learned that overall rank just caculates how many credits you have. So is their a way to find out?

Overall rank is your grandtotal score... so basically the more you play, the better ranked you are.
There's Multiplayer rank also. But that's not accurate either because it's just playing people you choose to.
Average rank is your rank on every song averaged together. Theoretically, this is the best and most accurate way. However, most of the good players don't bother playing the easy songs.
The Top Player's List system that scottish and jimerax are running is currently the best we have right now. However, there is no full accurate way to rank.

I think they did it like that because they assumed that the more you play the more points you would have, so you would have more practice therefore you would be a better player.
So i like the way it's ranked now, its decently accurate.

I agree with Kat, also, and I really think overall rank is extremely inaccurate. According to it, SMGod is 744, ignite is 475, zprime128 is 4, Acetiraz is 4060, and lumphoboextreme, RaGe-, and myself are 6, 7, and 8 (we're not horrible, but we're not way that good). I hope almost everyone can find at least something way far off with this.

scott and jim's ranking system is the most accurate.
