I like the idea of simply keeping Dance as it is and as new songs are created and become available for the Dance genre, place it into the new genre (Dance2, i suppose). The songs in Dance are already in order of difficulty (for the most part), so I'd expect that when Dance 2 is created, the songs will follow that same pattern.

how about making a seperate section that is for SOTW's only? like the first songs will be dance followed by HH, funk, arcade, rock, classical, and misc.

1) Never seen either of the two programs that you speak of.
2) I forgot which thread I was scrolling through, but I saw Selenica posting in there. If you really think it's a problem, go talk to her about it = P.

My only problem with seperating by difficulty is simply that all the new songs are definitely alot harder than some of the easy easy synth files. If we split them up it would still be lobsided, having one category with many more than the other. I think it just just be kept simple. Go by release date. Split them in half, set the first half by how old, and then the other half goes into the new Dance 2.
