I was in an MP game with my friend, when my internet cut out. Now that it is back up, when I try to enter the MP main lobby, it says my username is already in use. Is there anything I can do?

you're name's probably stuck in MP. does your firend have the same problem?

No, he is able to go in and out.

not sure what the problem is then, but i think you're stuck in MP and a mod has to kick you but i'm not sure. ask a mod.

It will automatically kick your username out after 30 minutes of inactivity. Just be patient, after 30 minutes clear your cache and then try again.
