Ok guys.

Two months ago, i've gained permission to use all of Freezepop's music into FFR if I wanted to.

So if anyone wants to make a Freezepop simfile for FFR, zip and send to [email protected]

Later tonight, I think I'm going to make a sticky'd list of all the music we have permission for.... in one easy place for people to find and step.

Guys like Shrapnel, pdmusic.org, freezepop, the skeewhatever guy... and something else special that should be coming very soon. Also old classics like jewpin, FGJ, and SGX.

Secrets, lol.



Basically, I'm so f-ing happy in not only how many awesome simfiles are coming in... but in HOW VAST OUR MUSIC SELECTION now is... we're getting a ton of awesome blanket permissions for people.

I've been thinking about it lately and there might actually be hope yet for some ACTUAL MAINSTREAM POPULAR MUSICIANS/BANDS, because some of them put their songs/videos up on their website to download, or put them up on sites like youtube (apparently the band Ok Go actually recorded videos JUST to put on youtube).

So yeah, as long as they get good plugging, we might actually get permission from popular musicians.

LD: I don't see any of Freezepop's songs listed on Chardish's list of songs for 3rd style...

and, apparently you made no mention of this to Snapps...

we have plenty of songs to choose from, for months, until 3rd style comes out... if you don't want Freezepop being worked til 3rd style, just say so and we'll close this thread up.

otherwise, it really doesn't make a difference in the long run... songs now, songs later. just so long that we don't add a song now that has already been stepped for 3rd style (aka, Chardish's list).
