    Sektone - Playdoh

Well, I am in love with this song... and have been for at least 2 months. So I was bored today and decided I wanna play this on the piano, so I go to my rusty, out-of-tune piano with my MP3 player and start trying to get the notes. I have a little repeat button on my player so that I can try to get one note in the boundaries so it will repeat that note over and over 'til I can find it on the piano. I was able to get a couple of notes, but some parts I just couldn't figure out.

Does anyone have any better methods of doing this? Or even better: the piano part on paper? :P

Also, if you'd like to help, post here.
    Thanks.

I think Finale does something like that... my band director took Linkin Park music and converted it to band music. Then again, if I remember correctly, it's a pretty expensive program... I dunno if they give a free demo or anything either.

Wow, finale and this other program I used called AmazingMIDI converter are pretty cool... it converts it to musical notes. But, the only problem is that it also converts the drums and such in the background, so it doesn't sound good, because they weren't meant to be converted to a piano, lol. So it sounds ilke a kid banging on the lower side of a piano.

I doubt it, but if anyone knows how to get rid of the drums in the original mp3/wav file so that there is only piano, tell me. :P

EDIT: Wow. I took out an old program called goldwave that I used to use a lot. And sure it enough, I remembered how to filter it, and am gonna try putting it back into the MIDI converter to make it a music sheet.

EDIT2: Damn... no matter what I can't get rid of this one beat thing in the song, so the whole song is messed up because it's on the same frequency as the piano. noooooooo!! D:

                Re: Sektone - Playdoh

                lol, thanks reikon

And no, it's not just one note, it's a whole mesh of many different notes.
Another problem is that in playdoh there are obviously 2 parts on the piano, one part is a constant 4 notes going up, and then there is the other main part. It combines those parts into one, so it doesn't look right.

But, I decided to try it with Vospi's we met dat night, because there is a part where there is only piano, and it worked like a charm. (Well, not really, it was still a little off :P) But I did get the notes correctly, the only problem is now I wanna play the rest of the song, but can't because the drums come in.
