Won't happen. Those "famous artists" have record deals and their record companies won't give us the right to use them unless we pay massive royalties.

Never heard of them. If they're as "famous" as you claim though, they have record deals and we wouldn't be able to get them anyway.

By the way, in the Suggestions forum there is a sticky detailing that we will never have mainstream artists in this game, and why we will never have mainstream artists in this game.

Actually, I have heard "Ridin' Dirty" now that I think about it. It is a terrible excuse for a song and anyone that likes to listen to it has the worst taste in "music" (I use the term "music" loosely here) that I've ever heard of.

And no. We should NOT get songs that people have heard of. That's just plain stupid. If you want to hear the same songs you've already heard hundreds of times over, go turn on your crappy local "hit" radio station. If you want new and fun music that you've never heard before, then play FFR. That's part of why FFR is great. It serves as an outlet to musicians who just want their music heard.

Ridin is an awesome song Afro. Because you don't like it doesn't make it bad. They're just stupid because they believe that FFR can get songs like that and not go bankrupt. Rap songs are also very bad for any dance game. It's the same thing over and over and it would be generically easy even compared to a song like, let's say, butterfly. Very low bpm. If you want songs like that download stepmania. Then go to bemanistyle.com and get songs from there. Never is FFR going to get songs of that status and neither should it even if it had the chance. Maybe it would get us more attention, but then we would just be considered sell-out's for feeling like we have to get involved in the ever growing hip-hop community.

No, Ridin' Dirty is a terrible song, as is most rap. If I want to hear the same "lyrics" I hear in rap songs, I'll just go to the Special Olympics and listen to the thoughtless babble from everyone there.

Silence (Tiesto's mix is better, but that is moot)
Hyper Pressure
Rondo Alla Turca (V1 is a better recording, just the file doesn't go with it)

We have good artists:
SGX
DM Ashura

And this is just the beginning, these are just the first ones to come to mind. Just because music is not mainstream does not mean it's bad.

I consider Ridin' Dirty a good song. I showed it to a couple of FFR regulars, and they all(except this one girl) liked it.

Well, give LD the money for it and he'll add it. Not the money for the CD, the money for the rights.
