Is spread 2 hands with 4 fingers? (2 per hand)? I thought spread meant 1 handed.

Spread = 4 fingers from 2 hands yes. I'm spread- I stole laggy's setup of m,./ haha, I found it far quicker to get better and hit stuff like trills and jacks and whatnot with that setup.

index for FFR because while I'm better at spread, I can't consistantly hold a combo on spread as well as index.

One-handed (3 fingers) is my standard method. I've tried out the spread method (2 hands, 2 fingers from each) before, but it was hard for me to get used to. I probably could have gotten used to it if I wanted to, but it was simpler to stick with my usual one-handed method.

P.S. -- Not like I expect people to remember me because it's been a long time since I played. But I finally got a new computer which seems to play FFR without trouble now, so I'll probably be popping in more frequently now, to play some games and get/keep my rank up.

i index pure index as smitty put it i just use my indexes nothing else unless theres a crap load of crossovers than my middle fingers come into play :P

I switch off alot. In songs like CIA Rave I might be 1-handed at one part but then spread at another part with all the notes. It just helps me that way.
