Re: 2 hand 1 hand???
Alright well you look like a beginner so I'm going to go ahead and tell you everything you need to know about 2 hands/one handed play.
One handed play is BASICALLY what everyone started out with. One handed is easy to learn, and commonly used in FPS/MMORPG games, therefor (I would think) the brain would automatically start you out in this position.

Two handed play... numpad + keys. I use this technique for the harder songs because you NEED two hands to play harder songs. They are too fast and too complicated for single handed play. I use my left-hand middle-finger for the left arrow, left hand index for down, right hand middle for numpad 6 (right arrow) and right hand index for numpad 8 (up arrow).
This takes a lot of time to get used to... you virtually have to start over at the easy songs unless you're gifted like some of these guys here.

There are other ways to do two handed play, you can use the whole numpad 4 2 6 8 for all the arrows, you can attempt to cram your two hands in the little arrow key area, ect. But this way is the most spread out, easiest way for me to play.
A bit off topic, hey guys! I havn't been on the forums for what seems like forever, some of you may remember me... but anyways, I plan on staying for a while and I hope to get better at FFR.
Does anyone know where I can download a good starter pack for Step Mania with actual ddr songs and steps? Like the ones for Max and Max 2... I've tried the links, and from what it seems, they're broken. Bemanistyle is even harder to find the original mixes on because everyone puts their songs there... good or bad. If anyone could help me out with stepmania, I'd apreciate it. (I know how to work it, I just lost all my files when my computer broke a while back)
Thanks.
