to what? the thread... cause you would just click on the little blue text for that to occur. As for doing what it says... it's fairly simple. Find the simfile you dl'd. Unzip it. You will need winrar or winzip to do this... both are freely available, try google to find them (if you don't have them already). Now make a folder in the songs folder in your stepmania folder. Name it something clever, like "Songs". Next, place the extracted (meaning unzipped) folder which has all the stepfile stuff in that folder. Now open stepmania and play the song.

          have you installed it yet?

if so, the folder you're looking for is C > Program Files > Stepmania(insert version stuff here) > Songs

check my edit... that should help you find the right place to make the subfolder where the simfile folder is placed.

basically open your SM directory. go to songs folder, make a folder named FMP, extract the zip to that folder. That should do it.

I don't know why I just typed it out. I am just amazed by this thread..

                      I mean. Ok.

                      Click on My Computer.
                      Click on C: Drive.
                      Click on Program Files.
Click on the folder which says "Stepmania (version crap)"
                      Find the "Songs" folder
                      Open it.
Make a new folder... name it something. Or don't name it. Whatever.
                      Put stepfile folder in here.
Now stepmania will find it and play it.

Damn it. I think you just made me buy something. I dont wanna pay. Is there any way one of you can open the file for me? Buying something isnt an option.

You don't have to buy Winzip. Just use the "free trial version", which you can continue to use forever.
