Beatpick and creative common license music

So I'm surfing the home page, also know as the link in my sig that is not 'Nanners? and I get a 0news article directing me to a site called www.beatpick.com

59 Artists, more to come soon hopefully, no RIAA to speak of, No spyware, no DRM, and best of all

I sent off an email to admin/owner/whatever (s)he labled him/herself to make sure, but I'm quite sure that any music track that would be placed on BeatPick could be used for anything FFR at no/minimal cost ($4 an album with 4 free shares).

I've already listened to some full albums for free (woot) and there is some interesting stuff worth a look. Hopefully I'll get a response that is saying yes this is all true, and third style will have a even more music talent to bolster, without all the huge legalities that some stepfiles have had to go through.

it seems that you fit the criteria to use our music for free.

You are free to use our music for non-commercial purposes as defined by the Creative Commons license that governs our music catalogue.

Some examples: student projects, GNU/Berkeley/OSI licensed games/software that are given away for free, small charities, demo & resume to get a job, films/video art shown where admission fee is not charged.

If you want to look at the legal wording: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/2.5/

We appreciate very much if you let us know what music you are using and what for as we’ll inform our artists who will be very happy to know it.

Also as defined by the Creative Commons, you must attribute the work to us. Put our name next to the songs, or put our logo somewhere on the site or write anything about us or give us some credit in any way you may think of.

We are a young company and we need help to go on doing what we are doing. We are happy to help anybody involved in non-commercial projects and we hope you will give us some credit.

I attach our press release and a few logo.

Thanks for your interest and take care
Glee! That is at least 400 potential songs to be stepped to and all that needs to be done is say the song was from www.beatpick.com
