Downloadable flash version of the game?

The downloadable version FFR in the download section is kinda bad.
Is there any way to download the current FFR on to my computer? My internet is really slow and it takes so long to load.

It is possible to simply take the flash swf files and play on the computer, dont know if FFR staff let me do this.

Also, why the R2 version resembles stepmania's game format? http://www.stepmania.com/

I have no clue to your first part. I assume you're outta luck there. But R2 = SM because some people prefer that kind of setup over FFR.

Well most likely. You can try to extract the .swf file with a specail program. But it might still need an internet connection. There are two specail downloadable FFR versions on the downloads page.But they only carry a few songs. Yor best bet is to stick with Stepmania/ DWI or play FFR online.
