This question has been ask over and over in this section of the forum, and no it is not possible to use a pad for FFR.
This also takes use to the question of why you would use a pad for FFR. Most of the songs are impossible for a pad and could only be done with fingers.
Now you are able to use a pad with Stepmania, another DDR simulator for the computer, but offline and you can download stepfiles to use to play songs on it.
to get the pad to work first you need a Pad Adapter for you to convert your PS pad's controller end into a male usb end which then you are able to connect it to your computer and set up in your joypad settings.
For further stepmania setup: http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...t=2869&start=0
For links to download stepfiles: http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...=24158&start=0
