    the multiplayer thing says i've been banned. WHY?! is this permanent?

                                  I don't think you were banned. Your firewall is probably refusing the connection to the server. Depending on your firewall, check your preferences, and change your port. I forget what number. Either that, or you spammed the chat in there.
