    The Three Worlds of FFR

This is something I've been thinking about, how different people go to different places in FFR. I've decided to write up a draft about it.
    Here goes nothing

    The Three Worlds of FFR

    The Game
These are where most of the members are. They simply join the site to play the game, no/very little interation with the community. Some of the best FFR players are in this group, but they never go to the other worlds. The intelligence of these people and this world cannot be determined for there is nothing to support it besides the small chat in the multiplayer room. Their main speach is 1337 and a tiny bit of english. But most of the members on the forums claim it's higher in intellect then the chat, I have to agree with them.

    The Chat
Yet again, another large amount member frolic here. It is webcam and mic enabled, so it gets enriched quite a bit. Though, some people are intelligent, the mass of them are only have a bit intellect. Sometimes the webcam chat can get out of hand. Just last night, a girl asked in the main window if any mods were around, then asked me for a picture of my cock by webcam. Like all chat rooms, the subject is constantly changing and can be a bit hard to follow (Note: This does not apply when very few people are in the room) The intelligence of these people and this world are most of the time, semi-decent, though some of the times it can get extremely dumb. The main speach is semi-1337 and some english. On another note, there are some flames when the mod's not around, sometimes a lot more if it gets out of hand.

    The Forums
Though a lot of people are regestered at the forums, though VERY few of them are regulars (About 1/128). Most of the people in this world use proper english and pronunciation, barely any 1337 is used. There is little interaction with the chat, but some people come over from it. There is heavy activity with the forumers and the game, for most of them are avid FFR/Stepmania players. Most of the people in the forums are very good keyboard players. There are barely any flames in this forum, and where there are, it's pretty harsh (Most of the time, the topic is locked afterwards) The main speach is pure english, and a few spelling errors, and a microscopic amount of 1337. The intelligence is pretty high, except when someone from the chat or game comes over and uses 1337 or flames for a topic.

    Conclusion-
So, players, which one do you belong in?
Are you a gamer who barely interacts?
A chatter who enjoys the chat room?
Or a forumer who desires higher intellect the the other two worlds?

Well... there you have it.. The process of 20 minutes of simply writing my thoughts down.

    Questions? Addons? Comments?

    Edit: Changed some things around

the best players are very interactive in the forums.. the chat people are fucking stupid save 2 or 3.. and the people that only play the game usually are pretty bad.

Yes, I agree with you, but from what I've seen, some of the game players are quite good. But, this is only from what I've seen.

        Fin.
I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak. Souls cross ages like clouds cross skies, an' tho' a cloud's shape nor hue nor size don't stay the same, it's still a cloud an' so is a soul. Who can say where the cloud's blowed from or who the soul'll be 'morrow? Only Sonmi the east an' the west an' the compass an' the atlas, yay, only the atlas o' clouds.

            Kilga wins.

Though, some of the multi-player people I have chatted with aren't too bad.

The forum is held up way too high in your opinion. Ever read the g-bin?

Proud to be one of the avid forum members who is not an avid SM player or any good at it.

Well, I started out in the Game, because I originally just came here to play FFR. Then I was curious about the chatroom, so I registered a name (NightSonnett ) and went in. Since then, I've been chatting in the chat quite regularly, and still play the game all the time. I usually, in the past, had just posted in the forums when I felt like it (hence the low number of posts), up until recently when I've come to meet more and more regular forums users.
The regulars on the forums are, for the most, part very intelligent. As are the regulars in the chatroom. I feel bad whenever a regular forum member goes into the chat for a first time, or if they barely go in, and the one time they do have a bad experience with the random people who only go in there to flash or ask for someone to fash. It makes all the chat users appear to be incredibly stupid or immature. The chat regulars are good people, in my opinion, and I like the bunch of us It just takes a ton of patience to get used to the amount of people who are morons, and actually come to find out who's who. It's worth it, though. I've met a lot of awesome people.
                    My computer hates me.

I'm the same as NightSonnett. I started playing keyboard years ago, when a friend showed me Delight Delight Reproduction. When my brother went to college 3 years ago, his friends told him about this site and he transferred that info to me. I started playing the game on a 600 mghz computer with a 56k modem, and despite the impossibility, was hooked. Eventually I lost interest in the period of non-updates, but came back a few months later and peeked at the forums. For a few weeks all I did was read and enter the AIM chats when FFR was holding a radio show. Eventually, with a newer, personally built computer, I stepped up and made a post, and have been pretty active since then. I also still play quite a bit of FFR and SM, and am above average in skill.

I started out as a game guy once my friends told me about FFR. I was never good at ddr, but I felt that my fingers were better than my legs. I ended up liking FFR and play a lot although I'm still no where near the level of skill that I should be for all the time I spent playing. I am starting to become a forum goer after my last return the the game(this one). I have only been in the chat once, and I didn't like it.

I hope it's obvious in my case.

The chat scares me. ALL chat rooms scare me.

I like places where I can actually make positive efforts in correcting grammar.

I started in the game, and i wasnt that great at it either, the only song i played was stay with me. LOL. I had a different username, (darkboarder0006)and that one has probably been deleted but i registered in nov of 03. Ive been here a while. Anyway, i started to get intrested in the chat, so i was there a while, and i was retarted then and brought that over to the forums and was givin, how do you say, a hard time. Yes, a very hard time in which i brought on myself, and i still think about it and what i could have done to get me out of that situation, havent come up with anything. Well, i got stepmania and my skills on the keyboard took off, and i can say safley that i am in the top 400 players in ffr, not my sig XD.

I was in the "game" world for about 2-3 months, then I'm like "hey there is a forum, why not go there?" so I went and it was very cool, and now I hang out here so often that I dont even play FFR much anymore, but when i do play I get way too absorbed in it...I'm weird.
