When I first joined FFR I never thought I'd complete...

...Secret Zombie Room. But I just did. It's the same with Burnout; I never thought I'd have a snowball in hell's chance of completing it, but I have. This isn't really a bragging thread (or, conversely, a mockery thread); I'm just wondering what songs you first looked at and shook your head...before returning later and beating them.

Well, it made me happy. At least I know my two years spent playing hasn't been without progress...

i had played SM before this, so most of the difficult/tricky songs I could fc right away...

I play one handed so the classical songs/a few others still intimidate me. I can pass all, but cant even come close to FCing alot if them...

i started playing one hand and recently changed to index.
when i started, i couldnt beat slap guitar but i worked at it and i eventually beat it.

now one handed, i can A quasar with like 5 misses, and FC rollercoaster ride.(on SM)

i thot i could never beat legend of zelda remix whean i first played(and the yoshi bonus part looked like it was for gods back then.) but now i can beat all the songs on ffr
and fc alot of them.and ffr is the only step game ive ever played for almost four months now.( its so addicting!)

On the first day i played ffr, i could pass chrono trigger. but that was so long ago that it was the hardest song on the site 8). Also, playing sm 1 handed before that had helped alot. (this was way way back before ren stopped making files and i thought his ACT was hard cuz i didn't use speed mods)

This past fall i switched to index and now i can finish, not mash through, all of the songs . Right before that i thought flight of the bumblebee was imposbible cuz i only played 1 hand and it was so damn hard to finish.

Don't forget my second post after the board wipe...

my GOODNESS....I just beat FF7.....I think beating FF7 is a rite of passage from "newbiehood" to "experienced"

it's 3 freaking minutes long!

Now I can FC that song without breaking a sweat, and clear everything. You'll get waaaaaay better.

didint u play stepmania or somthing related to ddr befor joining?
i dont know how u could without practice..not to bring u down or anything.
