Multiplayer just stands there with "Connecting..."

Okay, i made my own topic since people never explained the full problem, well when i try to connect to FFR Multiplayer i cannot click on the ( GO ). I have tried this on 2 different computers, one that was fully reformatted, the other had no virus/spyware on them with updated protection.

They all wouldn't let me click on the ( GO ) button. Is there a software required for FFR Multiplayer mode, i have Shockwave and Flash, have i missed something out?

I turned the firewall on and off on the same computers(this didn't help), no they do not have a router, one is 56k the other is Cable.

When i cannot press the ( GO ) button at the top corner of FFR Multiplayer(it doesn't respond) it just says "Connecting..." Like i said, it's nothing about virus/spyware for certain, i don't know if this is a bug or me just not having the right software.

Quite honestly, if it says "Connecting...." and doesn't change, something is being blocked from your side. Multiplayer runs over port 80 (same as http). Are you trying to connect from home? School? Work?

You need nothing other than a web browser and the flash plugin in order to play FFR.

Lets see if we can work through this and get it running for you.

Hello, Synthlight. Thank you for replying, i just reformatted my Processor, i'm using it at home, i just tried to connect to multiplayer yet it still doesn't work, do you know any certain ports it blocks? I don't have my firewall on right now.

I just installed Flash 7.0 then tried it yet it said the same thing as before.
Thank you for being patient for this post, sorry it wasn't sooner i reformatted to see if it was my computer.

If it helps my Computer Specs are:

3ghz Pentium IIII
512mb ram
OS: Windows XP.

Hi Synthlight. The problem fixed it's self it seems like it was something to do with the FFR's side.
Cause the Cache problem fixed it's self now the Connecting problem fixed it's self

Thanks for support anyway, it only started working together.

We changed some settings to allow more people to get through.

If that doesnt work try clearing your cache

I don't understand how these 1st time posters find these threads. The effort it takes to go back pages upon pages, then post irrelevantly is amazing.
