why only up and down arrows in multiplayer?

IM HAVING A PROBLEM...... I HAVE BEEN PLAYING FFR FOR A WHILE NOW..... AND I AM RANKED 912..... HOWEVER, I PLAY WITH THE ARROWS FROM RIGHT TO LEFT, NOT UP AND DOWN, AND THE MULTIPLAYER MODE ONLY FEATURES UP AND DOWN ARROWS.... WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO?

2) Play with up and down arrows for now cause left and right ones are not coded in yet

Then his computer sucks so much that he shouldn't be on FFR, especially not with that .(yes point)56K Modem.
