Im kind of tired of the hacked scores and hidden "magic" arrows. I think it should be revamped, new scores, new steps, but only at the staffs cost. I dont like rushing the staff, but yes, the scores and the hidden magic arrows are no fun anymore.

RE: Revamping ffr
Idea: Play R2
But what you're proposing would take a really long time and would be a waste of the staff's time. Also, wiping the scores would be unfair to the legit people who got on the leaderboard but rarely play anymore or not at all [Arch0wl].Originally posted by apersonYeah because I'd kick your ass there too.Originally posted by emcckygod forbid you try something hard :X -
RE: Revamping ffr
but not really. back in the early days of FFR, the highscores would be reset every couple months (usually there were legit reasons for this, but 'hacked' highscores could be considered legit). I always liked when they were reset, because it added some competition, got people playing more (or again), and also kind of updated the "who's who of FFR" (the good people who still play will find the top spots again)...So i have to agree with Link that a reset of high scores might not be a bad idea. and if it would be possible for the staff to easily fix the hidden, I think it would have already been done. But it would be nice if it were fixed.I'll trade you this delicious doorstop for your crummy old danish.

RE: Revamping ffr
They used to wipe the scores every week huh? That would be nice to start up again. All hackers will get killed if they keep it up... Id like to see my name in lights sometime. Maybe not soon, but sometime when someone gets this all sorted out. I want this place to be the biggest community anywhere. All Im trying to do is help keep it clean. The forums and chat are covered already with moderators, but we need some good players to be able to keep an eye on the songs in ffr and ffr R2. I despise hackers for various reasons (online gaming, etc). I hope that synth sees these posts ive started. I just want to make this a better experience for all the new players that come in here.

Here's the problem with R2: No songs.Originally posted by MetsPenguin31Idea: Play R2.
It doesn't have half as many songs as the original. And besides, if we find a way to keep the hackers out, the erasing all the high scores would be nothing because then you could just get your high score back, now couldn't you?
The only reason you couldn't is because...umm...you're not so great? Yeah, that works.Comment

RE: Re: RE: Revamping ffr
except i believe (i'm not 100% sure here, so sorry if i'm wrong), but most of those who have scores that are impossibly high have been banned, and no longer can play FFR. So by resetting them it would be more fair, and if new hackers surface, then they can get banned as well.I'll trade you this delicious doorstop for your crummy old danish.

RE: Re: RE: Revamping ffr
Ok, as long as they don't ban the Hi-Scorers of Dance 2 This, I've gotten 97% of the high score, around....24000, and the high score is around 25000.
If their score doesn't make any possible sense, ban 'em!Comment

RE: Re: RE: Revamping ffr
You cannot ban their high scorers, only the ones who have consecutive high scores on every song.

RE: Re: RE: Revamping ffr
they can figure out the highest possible score (even with hidden arrows), and there have been (or maybe still are) scores which are thousands above the highest attainable score. The people who achieved these can be IP banned.I'll trade you this delicious doorstop for your crummy old danish.
