I've been playing piano for like 6 years. I guess it helped...as my fingers were already fast when i started playing.

People who play Musical Instruments have a greater advantage over those who dont, because musicians have rhythm, or are taught rhythm.

Because of my musical background, I exceled in DDR much faster than my friends with no musical background. But then again, I am awesome, so maybe that is why I am so good.

playing ddr (with fingers) improves hand-eye coordination, and so does playing an instrument from sheet music. Therefore, playing instruments makes you better at ddr, and playing ddr makes you better at playing instruments. They both also help you understand how rythem and beat work, so you can play notes more on beat, and hit arrows with better timing. So they're basically complementry of each other, and the more you do them the better you get with both.
One day there will be a really cool sig here. But not right now.

AND Jewpin can do the sound things so much better than people like me.

                          Even though I do music!

I'd say musicall people are good. Or if anyone's played Wario Ware Inc for 24 hours straight is good.

I've taken piano for years, so it came easier for me than others I've seen try for the first few times, but I still wouldn't call myself good in contrast to others who play for hours on end.
