    Hmm is it just me or...

    Is R2 much harder than FFR? I can pass almost every song in FFR now (cept 2 classic songs) and in R2 i'm stuck at some Light songs. Maybe i just really don't like the layout and the button presses(FFR does a much better job of letting you know you hit a note), or maybe i'm just so used to FFR that anything else with a difference nails me.

    This is only my tenth day of being at FFR, but i do have 450+ games played in FFR, and have over 1400 creds.

    It'd also be alot easier if i didn't have to clear my cache every time i play a song > ).

    What difficulty are you playing R2 on? You realize there are four different difficulties right?

      Of course. As stated I was having some problems in a few Light songs, and i can beat almost all of FFR. I'm pretty sure i just have to get used to it.

        ....that doesn't make sense. All of the light songs in R2 are extremely easy except for perhaps reality and lost trace.

          Maybe it's the life regen thing... FFR is extremely generous with regenerating life.
          Balloon Fever is beautiful and natural.

            I have the same problem. It seems that you just have to be a lot more accurate with R2. From what I've seen, a "Perfect" on FFR would would be a "Good" on R2 and an "Average" on FFR would be a miss on R2.

            Actually, I have no idea. I was just looking for an excuse to post...

              R2= Accuracy

              R1 has very broad time frames, and it is very easy to get perfects. In R2 though, you have to be very accurate, because there is the addition of the marvelous.

                For my impression,
                Perfect on R1 = Marvelous - High Great on R2
                Good on R1 = Low Great - High Good on R2
                Average on R1 = Low Good - Boo on R2

                It may depend on the PC though.
