I need a keyboard

Okay, the time has come for me to purchase a new keyboard. I had a wireless one long ago and it worked fine. When it broke, I got another wireless one and it blows unimaginable amounts of cock. I can't play FFR or SM correctly with this one.

So, despite my good experience with wireless, I'm going back to wired, and I need a good keyboard. I figured y'all might have some good suggestions considering my primary consideration is how well it plays FFR/SM.

My priorities/desires:

1. Must play FFR/SM well. That is, no fancy bells on the arrow keys. Standard layout and size, good response, and ease of finger movements (I play one-handed). I know this one is kind of personal when it comes to preference, but some of the things are understood.
2. Keys layout: Standard alphanumeric (no ergonomic crap). Backslash on second row from top (I know that's weird, but this one has it right above shift, where part of the Enter should be).
3. No insert key, two-key-wide backspace, two-key-wide zero key on numpad (another gimp thing about this keyboard).
4. Volume control buttons somewhere and Fkeys in groups of four.

So, I may seem picky, but these are just things on my ideal keyboard. If any of y'all have keyboards that meet most of these specifications, I'd love to hear what kinds they are. Thanks.

i built this machine as a poor man so i got a basic generic board for like 12 bucks. it meets all you reqs except the dub spaced keys (i for one like a two keyed backspace) and you can find it and ones like it anywhere, proably even at some internet cafe. although response is a bit iffy...

I did the poor mans thing too, 10 dolor circuit city keyboard. It has the ins key, and the wide 0, but no double-key backspace. Made by micro innovitaions. One issue I have....no L + R + U. L R D works, but for some reason when I have to L R U at the same time, either 0 keys register or the up doesnt. So I guess if you are playing some heavy/challange stepfiles this isnt for you...

I have the Microsoft Wireless Multimedia Keyboard (it comes with a Wireless Optical Mouse too) and it seems to work fine for me.

No insert key? I think they'll all have it.

I have the Dell Multimedia Keyboard. If Insert is a problem for you, this one solves it. Instead of the classic 2x3 grid of keys (Home, End, Delete, etc), it makes them a 3x2. Insert is the bottom right, so the chance of hitting it is slim.

Plus the volume control stuff is really nice. And I've not noticed a problem during FFR or SM except for the fact that numlock must be off.

buy a 20 dollar keyboard from bestbuy.. works fine.
