Right, it changes from song to song a bit more than I think it should honestly. My global varies from -3 to +2 depending on what I'm playing, but I don't bother with decimals. If it feels wrong on every whole number I try, I just mute it (if I'm trying to AAA).

So how do i do it? step by step? here is my understanding on how to calculate global offset....

Pick a well on beat song to begin with and play the whole thing, once completed right click something on the results page? then not sure what

Edited okay, I just did the song " One Last Battle " With 0 judge offset and 0 global offset and here is my results below

      Framerate 144

      Speed 2

      Scroll Speed is : -0.111

Have you tried a lower framerate? Say 55?
It should work better but you might have to increase your speed as well.

Accuracy of -0.1111 means you're actually pretty bang on as it is. Changing the judge offset to +0.1 might make some tiny improvements.

Also, you'll note that the 5-0-0-1 you got on the song 20 minutes ago is currently your 3rd highest ranked song at a AAA equivalency of 15.19. This is what I mean about working on accuracy on easier songs being better than trying to just -pass- harder songs.

Spend some more time on 20s and low 30s, and your scores on 45s will get better than they will if you play 50s instead.

I tired 55 and it was to choppy, went to 60 and it solved that issue....Just trying to figure out my global offset and trying to determine if auto judge offset helps or makes it worst having a hard time telling?

Alright so i should keep global offset 0 and have auto judge offset on?

My usual rule of applying offset is "If the song felt like the arrows didn't match the music, or I got way more goods than I thought I should, check Accuracy, adjust accordingly, and play again" and it has a 100% success rate in the replay being a much better score.

You "Should" do whatever seems to work best for you. For me, making frequent adjustments to global offset works best, because I play to the music, not the chart, and when there's a mismatch between them, global is what fixes it. If you're finding the music matches the chart, you're just hitting a little early or late consistently due to lag or similar, judge offset will likely help with that.

Well that was an interesting read. I would recommend just keeping this game on the back burner and playing something that you don't have to change the judge offset 24/7 to improve *cough* etterna *cough* (Although I spend all my time in osu mania, but im bad so take this advice with a grain of salt.)

I actually adjust my offsets in Etterna just as much as I do it here.

The number one tip is just to play the game everyday for at least 2 hours and never take more then 3 days off in a row. Everything else should come natural after awhile. But here's some generic/obvious tips that maybe you haven't thought of.

                            Use mechanical keyboard.
                            Use decent pair of headphones.
Find what scroll speed is easiest for you to read dense patterns.
                            Play around with different noteskins.
                            Play around with screen cut.
Find out if you're hitting too early or too late by using the right click method. Then adjust your judge settings accordingly.
Just leave the global at 0 unless the song is way way off.
Try flash player 9. It has the fasting input recognition imo.

this is prob iffy advice but...
just move your fingers in a way that doesn't get goods... like slur the notes together.
If it's a fast one hand trill for instance, use jumps but hit them staggered. During a fast 1234 wall, you can often get away with jumping (1,2) (3,4) back and forth (hisugi/skeletor ect). Just basically find a way to hit the pattern even if your key presses sound horrible and then remember that feeling on ur fingers.
