Do we want more tokens?

Personally, this is why I started playing this game, and it's saddening to see that there were a lot less tokens being made than when I joined. Half the reason I left because there were just... really no more "reachable" tokens. Nothing that even a full stretch would give. It's why I, personally, enjoyed the old token art competition as well, quite a few of them I made from utter scratch.

And whelp. I don't see any more puzzle tokens, and skill tokens seem to be mega rare. For about 3 years of passed time, there are very few skill tokens, and from what I understand, there's only mainly event tokens now.

But that's just me. Was curious, what do you guys think?

there was no option for once a month or so. once a week seems too often given the normal amount of releases for normal songs we see, let alone token songs people would have to take the time to come up with.

As much as I wanted to pick the first option, I agree with this because I want to add on the fact that instead of doing Songs of the Week, they now do Songs of the Month, and with the Official Tournament coming up soon, we have to wait until probably September for another Songs release, let alone a token release!

Your poll basically gives the option of high frequency or none at all. Daily is obviously way out of the question, weekly is too high given the current state of things and even if we were back to normal weekly song releases I'd not want to see a token out of them every week. Personally I don't like them myself, but I'm not opposed to them. If anything I'd say once a month or one every couple months. A lot of times simfile authors hate their files only being playable by some people as well, so that's another factor you need to think about when it comes to tokens.

Tokens are great, but unfortunately the amount of requirements for any good ones are petty small without making them monotonous.

If you're a fan of completing collections, complete your collections of AAA's by difficulty. There's more to do than tokens.

But on the topic, I like skill tokens / and well done milestone tokens, but I hate puzzle based tokens. They're kinda dumb imho.

Would like to see some more GOOD skill tokens made. There's a lot of new files to put them from to.

I was under the impression that it DID happen once a month. And that's what I thought was "leave as is."
